so i'm a slacker...

But the good news is that some other, more responsible, kids on the farm are blogging as well!

Check it.  My homey Marzipan is orchestrating the blog and I find it quite nice.  Now I don't have to think or write meaningful or sensical sentences!  Now I can sit back and post pictures and comments I find witty.

Below, delicious food.

and a random shot from the new year complete with sewing machine and dead holiday tree.

things to tell you...
I don't know.  Life is good for the most part.  I eat like a queen, I play in the soil, I can't much complain.  There are baby sheep here now and really cute sheep herding dogs.  I've met some really amazing kids.  I can't believe that it is possible for me to live with 11 other humans- I never thought this would be.  I want to wrestle them with hugs.  I'm listening to Polka Dot Dot Dot.  I'm learning ridiculous amounts.  My digestive system has never been happier.  Jessica  Brown visited for a night.  One of the fellows here did a mini presentation on the history of bicycles; it reminded me of when Aaron used to give raptor ID presentations to the crew in the Goshutes.  I got an amazing wool sweater from one of the girls here because she said it is weird looking.  It's beautiful!  I'll post a picture.  My mother brought one sweet tandem bicycle down from Sacramento and it has been nothing but smiles, laughter, and a little bit of fear.  We also have baby chicks and we are currently incubating duck eggs.  Fermentation is all the rage here... one of the girls made a jug of ginger beer (non alcoholic) which we enjoyed hardily on the new year.  Now theres a huge jug of squash beer (alcoholic) fermenting in the warmth of the chicks heat lamp in our living room.  It's fermenting like wild and going to be enjoyed at our graduation festivities.  Also, who can forget kim chee, sourdough starter, and kambucha?  There is so much going on here it's hard to keep up.
